We are seeking a dedicated Physical Education Specialist to join our team at Winner Recruitment. This is a long-term opportunity until the end of the academic year.

Job Description
  • To deliver high-quality PE lessons using the national curriculum, working alongside the Curriculum Lead in tailoring lesson plans based on learner requirements.
  • Adapt lessons to suit the needs of children, creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters engagement and participation.
  • Support KS3 and KS4 pupils in their physical education journey, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet their targets and potential.
  • Conduct informal assessments and progress reports for individual pupils, monitoring their progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Run extra-curricular sports activities, promoting a culture of physical activity and teamwork among students.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A deeply caring and passionate individual with extensive sports experience and background.
  • Previous sports coaching experience, with a strong understanding of sports development and pedagogy.
  • QTS/Sports qualification (not essential) but preferably held.
  • Able to support students with transition challenges, demonstrating excellent knowledge and understanding of SEMH and behavioural difficulties.
  • Strong resilience and patience, with the ability to form good relationships within the school environment.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, with a focus on maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
