Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with financial planners to deliver excellent client outcomes
  • Conduct appraisals, 121s, and drive performance within the team
  • Coach, mentor, and provide training to develop the team
  • Disseminate important information and business changes which impact the administration team
  • Provide guidance on a day-to-day basis and be the 'go-to person' to answer any process or technical issue
  • Build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact
  • Maintain back-office systems and client records in line with company policies
  • Liaise with operational teams where support is provided on activities
  • Work alongside financial planners and paraplanners to ensure completeness of documentation
  • Process all business in accordance with required processes & proactive pipeline management
  • Encourage client use of portal and other digital tools
  • Promote a service excellence mind-set throughout the team and the wider organisation
  • Identify and report any risk, breaches, or errors
  • Work in partnership with Managing Partner, Team Heads, Projects, L&D to identify training and coaching needs
Requirements
  • Excellent standard of education, ideally degree qualified
  • Demonstrable experience of client administration within the Financial Planning sector
  • Experience of managing and developing a team
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management with positive influencing skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • A strong ethic of client service
