This critical leadership role will help drive and scale the company's global accounting shared services, responsible for service delivery across a broad scope of financial processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct all aspects of Vertex's global accounts payable, payroll, stock administration, and tax mobility teams.
  • Effectively manage and develop the global shared services team that meets increasing needs and requirements across the business and helps drive the overall organization forward.
  • Plan and execute for impacts to accounting processes and systems driven by Vertex growth from new product introductions, global expansion activities, and business development.

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Previous leadership role of significant accounting operations team on a global scale.
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting required.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
