Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SENCo to join our team at Academics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent pastoral care across the school and leading a team of Teaching Assistants.

About the Role:

This part time SENCo position is available due to the current post holder going on maternity leave. The role will not have a teaching element and the part time hours can be made up over full days or over more days with less hours to fit your situation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Teaching Assistants to provide excellent pastoral care across the school
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure inclusive practices
