Primary SENCo Role in Outstanding School

We are seeking an experienced SENCo to join our team at an outstanding primary school in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out normal Primary SENCO duties, including sorting through EHCPS, conducting 1:1 assessments of children, and assisting with the administrative side of the role.

About the Role:
  • Carrying out normal Primary SENCO duties, including sorting through EHCPS and conducting 1:1 assessments of children.
  • Assisting with the administrative side of the role, including managing SEN provision and supporting teachers.
  • Working closely with the school leadership team to develop and implement SEN strategies.
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality support for children with special educational needs.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status and relevant educational degree.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
