Experienced SENCO Required for Thriving Primary School

Primary SENCO Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced SENCO to join our team at an outstanding primary school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SEN provision and be able to lead our team in providing high-quality support to students with special educational needs.
About the Role:
The SENCO will be responsible for carrying out normal SENCO duties, including sorting through EHCPs, conducting 1:1 assessments, and assisting with the administrative side of the role. The ideal candidate will have experience with EHCPs, a strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice, and excellent organisational skills.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status and relevant educational degree (NASENCO)
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
