Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Management Specialist to join our team at the University of York. As a specialist in project management, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a social security project in a devolved UK context.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also have a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, as well as a flexible approach to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project management and reporting tools, including impact monitoring.
  • Lead on the project's social media presence.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to establish effective ways of working.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of project management within a university setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • A willingness to manage your own workload and work independently and proactively to problem-solve.
