Anticoagulant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anticoagulant Clinical Specialist to join our team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading on the outreach anticoagulation clinics at Woking Community Diagnostic Hub, implementing treatment plans, and assisting the team in the organisation and day-to-day running of the Anticoagulant Service.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and lead on the outreach anticoagulation clinics at Woking Community Diagnostic Hub
- Implement treatment plans for patients requiring anticoagulation therapy
- Assist the team in the organisation and day-to-day running of the Anticoagulant Service
- Develop and implement service changes to meet the needs of the hospital and patients
- Manage a caseload of patients and maintain accurate computerised records using DAWN and Cerner software

Person Specification- 1st Level Registered Nurse or MPharm degree with integrated foundation training
- Completed competencies for Anticoagulation Clinical Nurse Specialist assessed by Consultant Hematologist
- Experience within Anticoagulation at Specialist level
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
