Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anticoagulant Clinical Specialist to join our team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the outreach anticoagulation clinics at Woking Community Diagnostic Hub, implementing treatment plans, and assisting the team in the organisation and day-to-day running of the Anticoagulant Service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and run the anticoagulant outreach clinics at Woking Community Diagnostic Hub
  • Implement treatment plans for patients requiring anticoagulation therapy
  • Assist the team in the organisation and day-to-day running of the Anticoagulant Service
  • Develop and implement service changes to meet the needs of the hospital and patients
  • Manage a caseload of patients and maintain accurate computerised records using DAWN and Cerner software

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in anticoagulation and experience in managing a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a 1st Level Registered Nurse qualification, ENB 998, or other relevant teaching qualifications, and completed competencies for Anticoagulation Clinical Nurse Specialist assessed by a Consultant Hematologist.
