As a full-time member of our Business Development Department, you'll manage the sales pipeline, update sales metrics, and provide exceptional customer support. Key responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, updating sales metrics, and providing customer support. Additional tasks involve:
  1. Managing the sales pipeline (bid/no-bid tracker) with projects in and out and specific customer feedback.
  2. Working with the Commercial Manager to update sales metrics.
  3. Using customer portals (like Ivalua) to extract proposals, manage them, and upload responses.
  4. Researching target customers and finding ways into their buying functions based on sales plans.
  5. Project managing customer projects into the business, including link calls and feedback.
  6. Making sales pitches to new and existing customers.
  7. Providing basic commercial cover on pricing updates, Schedule Agreement Processes, and Pricebook updates.
  8. Solving customer and internal problems.
  9. Utilizing advanced Excel skills for price reviews, testing, and negotiations.
  10. Supporting customer negotiations, scenario planning, and deal closures.
  11. Co-owning the Customer on-boarding matrix.
  12. Owning key customer accounts.
  13. Liaising with various company departments to resolve customer issues and boost satisfaction.
  14. Escalating unresolved customer issues.
Requirements include:Experience working in the aerospace industry.A sharp attention to detail.Good teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.Aself-motivated individual with a positive attitude.Strong communication skills.This role comes with a competitive salary of £70,000 - 90,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
