About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Nuclear Medicine team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical governance initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the highest standard of professional nursing care is provided to all patients attending the department
  • Participating in clinical governance and clinical audit initiatives
  • Safely and accurately administering radiopharmaceuticals by oral and intravenous routes to adult and paediatric patients

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with some experience of working in an outpatient department, such as Radiology
  • Ability to work flexibly, including five mornings per week
  • Specific training in Nuclear Medicine will be provided by the lead nurse and other staff as appropriate
