Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Nuclear Medicine team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical governance initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based practice.

Main Duties

The main duties of this role will involve ensuring the highest standard of professional nursing care is provided to all patients attending the department. This will include safely and accurately administering radiopharmaceuticals by oral and intravenous routes to adult and paediatric patients. The successful appointee will be an integral part of the local Nuclear Medicine team, working closely with clinical scientists, clinical technologists, nursing, and administrative staff.

Requirements
  • Registered nurse with experience of working in an outpatient department, such as Radiology
  • Ability to work flexibly, including five mornings per week
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive patient experience
