Nuclear Medicine Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Nuclear Medicine team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical governance initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based practice.
Main DutiesThe main duties of this role will involve ensuring the highest standard of professional nursing care is provided to all patients attending the department. This will include safely and accurately administering radiopharmaceuticals by oral and intravenous routes to adult and paediatric patients. The successful appointee will also be expected to participate in clinical governance and clinical audit initiatives, and to ensure evidence-based practice.
RequirementsWe are looking for a registered nurse with some experience of working in an outpatient department, such as Radiology. Specific training in Nuclear Medicine will be provided by the lead nurse and other staff as appropriate. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the local Nuclear Medicine team, which includes clinical scientists, clinical technologists, nursing and administrative staff.
