About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Nuclear Medicine team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical governance initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standard of professional nursing care is provided to all patients attending the department
- Participate in clinical governance and clinical audit initiatives
- Ensure evidence-based practice in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals
- Work collaboratively with clinical scientists, clinical technologists, and administrative staff to provide a comprehensive service
Requirements
- Registered nurse with experience in an outpatient department, such as Radiology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends
