Nuclear Medicine Nurse Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated registered nurse to join our Nuclear Medicine team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of professional nursing care is provided to all patients attending the department.
Main Duties
The main duties of the role will involve participating in clinical governance and clinical audit initiatives, ensuring evidence-based practice, and safely and accurately administering radiopharmaceuticals by oral and intravenous routes to adult and paediatric patients.
Requirements
We are looking for a registered nurse with some experience of working in an outpatient department, such as Radiology. Specific training in Nuclear Medicine will be provided by the lead nurse and other staff as appropriate.

The successful appointee will be an integral part of the local Nuclear Medicine team which includes clinical scientists, clinical technologists, nursing and administrative staff.
