The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist health, safety, and environmental advice to ensure the well-being of all colleagues, third parties, and visitors to sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional advice on health, safety, and environmental issues to colleagues, sub-contractors, and third parties.
- Conduct health, safety, and environmental audits, inspections, risk assessments, and training, including toolbox talks and training delivery.
- Monitor and review health, safety, and environmental performance in line with statutory requirements.
- Support the development and updating of health, safety, and environmental policies, including local workplace instructions.
- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing review of safety processes and systems of work to ensure compliance with policies and health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to ensure all company and legislative health, safety, and environmental requirements are included in third-party contracts.
- Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Chartered membership of IOSH.
- NEBOSH Certificate.
- Experience of carrying out specialist risk assessments.
- Ability to deliver training and toolbox talks.
- Full UK driving license and own transport.
- Experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders and compliance with external protocols and legislative requirements.
- A competitive salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.
