Bookkeeping and Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining accurate financial records, including bank statements and cashbooks.
- Processing Purchase/Bought Ledger Invoices and Printing Invoices/Credit notes.
- Posting/Analysis/Inputting of Invoices/Credits on to SAGE 200 and coding to Trial Balance accounts.
- Checking VAT amounts charged and Maintaining AP Ledgers, AP Spreadsheets, and reports.
- Ensuring the Invoices tie up with Purchase Orders/GRNs and Preparing weekly payment runs/weekly cash flow.
- Uploading payments on HSBCnet and Posting and allocating payments received and sent on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience and be part qualified in ACCA, IAB, ACA, CIMA, or hold an equivalent qualification in bookkeeping or a finance degree.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
