About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining accurate financial records, including bank statements and cashbooks.
  2. Processing Purchase/Bought Ledger Invoices and Printing Invoices/Credit notes.
  3. Posting/Analysis/Inputting of Invoices/Credits on to SAGE 200 and coding to Trial Balance accounts.
  4. Checking VAT amounts charged and Maintaining AP Ledgers, AP Spreadsheets, and reports.
  5. Ensuring the Invoices tie up with Purchase Orders/GRNs and Preparing weekly payment runs/weekly cash flow.
  6. Uploading payments on HSBCnet and Posting and allocating payments received and sent on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience and be part qualified in ACCA, IAB, ACA, CIMA, or hold an equivalent qualification in bookkeeping or a finance degree.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
