Accounting Role in Hemel Hempstead

We are seeking a skilled Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team in the Electrical products wholesaler industry based in Hemel Hempstead.

  1. Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts accurately.
  2. Enter data into accounting software or databases with precision.
  3. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow, and profit and loss.
  4. Monitor and track bank account balances regularly.
  5. Complete VAT returns on time.
  6. Verify the accuracy of business accounts to ensure compliance.
  7. Identify and record inconsistencies to help reconcile inaccuracies.
  8. Prepare employee wages efficiently.
  9. Manage employee expense claims effectively.
  10. Utilize knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
Shift Details:

Monday to Friday – 4 to 5 hours a day (hours to be confirmed), accommodating the school run etc.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant or similar job roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and good level of English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
