Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Town Planning Policy Manager to join our Planning Policy Team on a 10-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the work of the Policy team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Planning Policy service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the work of the Policy team and ensure the successful examination of policy documents.
  • Work closely with the Development Management team to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Provide administrative support to the Planning Policy service, including managing records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a local authority setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
