Key Responsibilities

The Registered Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality care, adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures. This includes:

  • Ensuring the home actively promotes the rights of young people as individuals.
  • Leading a team of care workers, including adherence to legislative guidelines, health and safety, and training.
  • Keeping appropriate records, monitoring, and evaluating systems within the organization.

A key aspect of this role is to develop and promote new techniques and approaches to childcare provision based in the home, contributing to the senior team's vision, and positively promoting the organization's well-being.

The successful candidate will participate in management forums, contribute to the development of work practices, policies, and procedures, and demonstrate emotional resilience when working with challenging behavior.
