Job Overview

eTeam, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team. As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for conducting accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting Services: Determine net asset values, calculate fund performance, allocate expenses, and prepare reports.
  • Complex Fund/Client Accounting: Perform complex accounting responsibilities, including driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, and specialist review functions.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide input into methodologies, check the work of more junior team members, and offer guidance on cash and asset reconciliations.
  • Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on client fund accounting practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or accounting related discipline.
  • Language: Advanced English is required.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Skills: Self-motivation, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication skills, high level of accuracy and proficiency in Excel, organisational and planning skills, and supervisory experience is preferred.
