About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our team at Margetts Fund Management Ltd. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial reports and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Produce and publish Scheme Reports and Accounts in line with IA SORP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the calculation of Distribution rates for the Schemes and the completion of CT600 /CT61 tax returns.
  • Audit and Compliance: Liaise with auditors for annual Scheme audits and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the reporting environment to shorten reporting periods.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and auditors.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent with a minimum of 18 months fund accountant or financial services auditing experience.
  • Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, high level analytical skills, high level attention to detail, and strong inter-personal, team-working and communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of accounting for financial instruments and regulatory requirements.
