Tenancy Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tenancy Services Manager to join our Housing Management Department at Ashfield District Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and development of high-quality housing tenancy services, including Tenancy/Estate Management, Anti-Social Behaviour, and Specialist Housing Support.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve services and deliver the best outcomes for residents.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants through a sound understanding of tenancy management legislation and the Regulator of Social Housing's consumer standards.
  • Provide clear direction to the team and work collaboratively with other departments and agencies to ensure residents live in safe and good quality homes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the social housing sector, with a track record of leading frontline services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Sound understanding of tenancy management legislation and the Regulator of Social Housing's consumer standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
