Job Title: Director of Housing Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Housing Services to join our team at Ashfield District Council. As a key member of our Housing Management Department, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality housing services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of housing services strategies to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Manage and develop a team of housing services professionals to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with other departments and agencies to ensure the effective delivery of housing services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a housing organization.
  • Strong knowledge of housing services and tenancy management legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
