About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Service Operative to join our team at Walker & Morrell Funeral Directors - Washington. As a Funeral Service Operative, you will play a vital role in providing a sensitive and professional service to families in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of deceased individuals for funeral services
  • Participate in funeral services, pallbearing, and other related activities
  • Work in the mortuary, fitting coffins, and dressing the deceased
  • Drive company vehicles and participate in the out-of-hours and on-call rota
