This role offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced teaching assistants to join our growing team and contribute to the development of our new provision. As a Pupil Progress Coordinator, you will work closely with our qualified class teachers to provide dedicated support to pupils in the Lower School (7-13yrs) provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor and track pupils' progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform targeted support.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher during lessons, providing expert guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to address specific needs and goals, ensuring seamless communication with other school staff.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.

Requirements:

  • A strong foundation in education, ideally to A-level, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics, and proficient IT skills.
  • Substantial experience in a similar role, such as Teaching Assistant.
  • Previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
  • Expertise in behaviour management and techniques, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
  • Able to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.

We offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual salary range of £28,000 - £32,000, depending on experience. This role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including company pension and life assurance.
