Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Nurse/Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the theatre team to plan and implement individualized care programs for patients in the perioperative period.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff, students, and theatre assistants to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with professional codes and statutory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for staff.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements
