Job Description

As a Care Manager Senior, you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in managing the delivery of high standards of person-centred care. This includes initiating and managing quality, health, dementia, and palliative care, ensuring the health and safety of all residents is effectively assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated using our electronic care planning system.

You will develop effective communication links with the Registered Manager, the support team under your line management, and all external professionals. Additionally, you will ensure all staff adhere to the correct reporting procedures for all accidents, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care
  • Proven experience in a care home environment
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult safeguarding
  • The ability to lead a team and implement forward-thinking approaches to current practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
