Role Overview: We're partnering with an established engineering consultancy in the beautiful North of Scotland to find a skilled Structural Design Engineer. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for various building structures, including distilleries, commercial, and residential builds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structural analysis and design for various building structures, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Develop detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings for construction projects, utilizing industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Presentation of reports, proposals, and technical documents to clients, and facilitation of client relationships.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • No less than five years of direct experience in structural design.
  • Excellent proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
  • Superb communication skills, capable of fostering strong client relationships.
  • Ability to approach problems proactively and maintain a high standard of quality in all work undertaken.

Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of approximately £65,000-£85,000 annually, along with bonus incentives and flexible working arrangements.
