Job Overview: BEAR Scotland is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our North West Bridges Team in Inverness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Assist with the maintenance and repair of major bridges, including inspections, investigations, and design work.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with Senior or Principal Engineers, stakeholders, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Record Keeping: Update structural records through the client's structures management systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: Relevant experience in bridge engineering and maintenance
  • Skills: Practical working knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, and associated design standards

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on location and experience
