Job Title: Educational Support Specialist

The Uniform Education team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Specialist to support our educational team in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work alongside our teaching staff, supporting students with their academic progress and social development. As an Educational Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and educating students, helping them achieve their academic goals while fostering their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of students.
* Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students, ensuring they understand the material being taught.
* Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging student participation and promoting good behaviour.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to discuss progress and any concerns.
* Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional assistance.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to special education.

Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children is essential.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and adults alike is required.
* Experience in tutoring or mentoring roles is advantageous.
* A background in special education or relevant qualifications would be beneficial but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy are crucial for this role.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
