About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Service Recovery Specialist to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in supporting service users from the point of entry into our service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, as well as onward referral to ensure seamless support for service users.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community through effective interventions and support.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment.
  • Advocate for access to partnership services to ensure service users receive comprehensive support.
  • Support social (re)integration by enabling service users to lead meaningful and purposeful lives, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
  • Design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods, delivering structured content to service users at various stages of recovery.
  • Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators to review progress and identify concerns with service users.
  • Tailor specific workshops to meet the needs of service users, addressing topics such as anger management, sleep disorders, and relationships.
About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working within a similar field. You should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good IT skills. Proactive and able to work independently, you should also have excellent time management and prioritizing skills.

A good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice is essential, as is the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders. You should be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage change successfully, prioritizing the needs of service users.

Finally, you should be committed to following and applying all necessary information governance processes and be willing to seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills.
