Job Summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a highly skilled Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our partners, including HM Probation Service, Courts, Prisons, and Police, to manage individuals subject to ATR and DRR Court Orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement, reduce harm, and associated criminality.
  • Assess suitability for CSTR (Community Sentence Treatment Requirements) in Court, over telephone alongside Probation.
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
  • Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
  • Work with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with good IT skills.
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
  • Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritizes the needs of service users.
  • Understanding of the importance of information governance processes and commitment to follow and apply all necessary safeguards.
  • Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden professional knowledge and skills, and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others.
