Criminal Justice Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves assessing and engaging with service users, ensuring they access the right interventions at the right time. No two days are the same, and we value flexibility, curiosity, and strong listening skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage individuals subject to ATR and DRR Court Orders in collaboration with partners such as HM Probation Service, Courts, Prisons, and Police.
- Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement, harm, and associated criminality.
- Assess suitability for CSTR (Community Sentence Treatment Requirements) in Court and over the telephone with Probation.
- Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, as well as onward referral.
- Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
- Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
- Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
- Support social (re)integration, enabling service users to lead meaningful and purposeful lives, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
- Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
- Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in partnership with various professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage change successfully, prioritizing service user needs.
- Understanding of information governance processes and commitment to follow necessary safeguards.
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden professional knowledge and skills, contributing to the learning and development of others.
