Revenue Controller Job Description

Ruby Group (Recruitment) Ltd is seeking a skilled Revenue Controller to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing billing and collection matters, working closely with partners and fee earners to maximize billings and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for billing and collection matters
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partners and fee earners
  • Ensure the accuracy of billing and adherence to service level agreements
  • Provide regular reporting updates to senior management
  • Monitor and manage WIP and debt balances
  • Offer advice on delinquent accounts and support credit controllers to achieve cash targets
  • Monitor and follow up on missing timesheets and manage Ebilling clients to ensure timely invoice submissions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of revenue or billing management experience, ideally gained in a law firm
  • Prior experience using 3E and EBillingHub is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach
