Community Grant Worker Opportunity

Action Together invites applications for the position of Community Grant Worker. This part-time role will support the development and delivery of grants and investments programs for voluntary, community, social enterprise organizations, and schools in Salford.

About the Job

This 12-month fixed-term contract offers an excellent opportunity to work with our team and contribute to making a positive impact in the community. As a Community Grant Worker, you will be responsible for assisting the Grants Manager and Grants Co-ordinator in developing and delivering grants and investments programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively with diverse groups, and have a good understanding of the local community. They will also be able to commute between office and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Grants Manager and Grants Co-ordinator in developing and delivering grants and investments programs
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders from various backgrounds
  • Prepare grant proposals and reports
  • Contribute to the identification and development of new funding opportunities
Benefits
  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications
