The Job

We are currently recruiting for a skilled social worker to join our Leaving Care Team (Next Step). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children and young people receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with young people, families, and professionals to assess, plan, and deliver targeted interventions that promote positive outcomes.
  • You will develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • You will manage complex caseloads, exercising sound judgment and critical thinking to navigate challenging situations.
  • You will remain up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, applying this knowledge to inform your practice decisions.
  • You will produce high-quality reports, assessments, and other documentation, adhering to established standards and expectations.
  • You will engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills, knowledge, and practice, contributing to the growth and improvement of our team.
  • You will participate in regular supervisions, reflecting on your practice and identifying areas for improvement.
