Neuro-disability Fundraising Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Executive to join our small and friendly Fundraising Department at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maximising financial income and raising awareness of our charity.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including the organisation of fundraising events and activities.
- Recruit participants for various sporting and challenge events, while identifying new opportunities and activities to engage with our community.
- Provide exceptional supporter care and stewardship to maximise fundraising and supporter experience, acting as the first point of contact for community and challenge supporters.
- Support the delivery of a range of community fundraising events, including the Christmas Fair, Bridge events, and school fun runs, as well as supporting volunteers in organising their own events.
- Identify and build relationships with new community groups, working closely with the Communications Team to develop marketing and digital plans for fundraising activities.
- Minimum of 1 year community fundraising experience, with a strong track record of delivering fundraising targets.
- Excellent networking, relationship, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Confidence in writing marketing and promotional copy, as well as being comfortable in an environment interacting with profoundly disabled patients.
- Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft programmes and databases.
