Neuro-Disability Fundraising Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Executive to join our small and friendly Fundraising Department at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in raising funds for vital therapies and services for our patients and residents, as well as supporting capital projects such as ward refurbishments and new facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, aiming to raise £230,000 and £3 million respectively.
- Organise and deliver a range of fundraising events, including sporting, challenge, bespoke, and community events, to engage with our community and supporters.
- Act as the first point of contact for community and challenge supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and stewardship to maximise fundraising and supporter experience.
- Support the delivery of a portfolio of community fundraising events, including the Christmas Fair, Bridge events, and school fun runs.
- Identify and build relationships with new community groups to expand our fundraising reach.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop marketing and digital plans for fundraising activities.
- Minimum of 1 year community fundraising experience.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Strong networking, relationship, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence in writing marketing and promotional copy.
- Computer literacy, using Microsoft programmes and databases.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
