At Papyrus UK, we are seeking a highly skilled Support and Guidance Specialist to join our team.

You will be working as a HOPELINE247 Adviser, providing individually tailored advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline.

The role involves delivering suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Assessing the needs of service users who present with risk to life and managing and reporting any matters related to safeguarding.
  2. Maintaining accurate records and inputting data monitoring into the data base system.
  3. Participating in clinical supervision and reflective practice.
  4. Providing training, mentoring, and coaching to new recruits.

Requirements include:

  • A degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work, or a related discipline.
  • A proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people.
