Occupational Therapist Specialist

The Role
As a specialist occupational therapist, you will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team within NHS Lanarkshire. Your key responsibility will be to manage your own caseload, utilizing evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex conditions, ensuring a high level of clinical expertise.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to occupational therapy staff and other disciplines/agencies.
- Lead clinical audits and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice within the organization.
Requirements
- Registered occupational therapist with valid HCPC registration.
- Postgraduate expertise within a relevant specialty/area of practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty/area of practice.
