About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at Bank of America. As an Audit Supervisor, you will be responsible for conducting Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Audits globally, working closely with our global teams to identify and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute multiple areas of test work during audit activities, utilizing analytical skills and technical expertise to identify opportunities for automation and continuous monitoring.
  • Independently execute audit test work on assigned audits in a timely manner, with a focus on high-quality results.
  • Identify control deficiencies, discuss with line management, and initiate control matter recommendations in assigned test areas.
  • Lead work and demonstrate project management skills, raising issues and concerns, and making recommendations for severity ratings.
  • Assess issues for impact to business processes, controls, and strategies, recommending severity ratings and escalation of broad themes or trends.
  • Establish business partner relationships, primarily engaging with line management, and exercise critical thinking and judgment to influence management to improve the control environment.
  • Consistently strive to improve processes and challenge the status quo to enhance the existing operating environment.
  • Support employee development efforts, teamwork, and a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of operational resilience and business continuity control processes and associated laws and regulations, either from extensive audit experience or a technical specialist with a dedicated role in the subject area.
  • Educated to degree level, with a preference for ACA, ACCA, IIA, or similar qualifications.
  • Previous experience in audit, compliance, risk, and/or other relevant risk-related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to quickly assimilate knowledge and analyze processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Extraordinary analytical skills, with the ability to develop and convey a point of view.
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker, able to map out creative solutions and lead their implementation.
