Job Title: National Sales Manager

PS Recruits Ltd is seeking a highly skilled National Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Lead a team of Business Development Managers to ensure they are hitting targets and driving sales.
  3. Utilize a motivational style of coaching and management to optimize sales performance.
  4. Collaborate with the Commercial Director to set individual targets and ensure the sales team is aligned with the business plan.
  5. Shadow and coach the sales team in the field to ensure exceptional client interaction and CPD delivery.
  6. Support individual sales processes where intervention is required.
  7. Deliver exceptional pipeline management to maximize conversion.
  8. Support sound commercial decision making in respect of quote preparation.
  9. Ensure reliable forecasts are provided by the sales team to support operational and strategic needs.
  10. Partner with Marketing to implement and resource the company events programme.
Requirements:
  1. Proven coaching style with quantifiable results in performance managing regional teams.
  2. Experience in Specification Sales, preferably with a background in selling and tendering into the NHS/Healthcare/Public sector professions.
  3. Internal construction sector or specialist doors related experience is advantageous.

The role requires regular commuting to the Head Office in Hampshire, with occasional travel to support the Business Development Managers in the field.

You will be fully supported by the Commercial Director and receive comprehensive training to get up to speed quickly.
