Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join our clinical trials team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating research and providing a high-quality dispensary and production service.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and participate in the risk assessment of clinical trials, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and systems at UCLH.
- Participate in clinical trial feasibility assessment meetings, providing feedback on our services' safety, capacity, and capability.
- Support the day-to-day smooth running of the operational and dispensary functions of the pharmacy clinical trials team.
- Support the mentoring and development of the clinical trial technical team.
- Monitor the progress of clinical trials in setup or undergoing amendment, and support or escalate as needed to maintain agreement timeframes.
- Provide advice to the wider research community when appropriate and escalate to senior pharmacists when necessary.
- Participate in the management and development of the pharmacy clinical trial service at UCLH.
