Job Title: Advanced Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical pharmacy services to our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing clinical pharmacy services in our Care Group, working closely with our Principal Pharmacist to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused pharmaceutical care. You will be expected to act as a specialist role model and expert in medical management, providing leadership and guidance to our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in the Care Group
  • Act as a specialist role model and expert in medical management
  • Provide high-level clinical pharmacy input to patient care
  • Supervise and train pharmacy staff at ward level
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • MPharm degree
  • Registered pharmacist
  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working
