Advanced Pharmacist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing clinical pharmacy services in our Care Group, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery. You will be an expert in medical management and will provide specialist advice and guidance to healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in the Care Group, working closely with the Principal Pharmacist.
- Act as a specialist role model and expert in medical management, providing advice and guidance to healthcare professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, delivering high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff at ward level, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals within and outside the Trust, promoting best practice and improving patient outcomes.
- MPharm degree
- Registered pharmacist
- Postgraduate diploma or equivalent
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working
