Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Specialist to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our Oracle e-Business Suite applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Oracle e-Business Suite applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Oracle e-Business Suite applications.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards and policies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite technologies.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on Oracle e-Business Suite applications and technologies.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with Oracle e-Business Suite applications, including systems analysis and design, and application problem resolution and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to define user requirements, design and develop solutions, and prepare complex documents including program specifications.
  • Expertise with Oracle eBusiness administration, Service, HRMS, Financial Modules, and SQLPlus.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with management, users, information technology personnel, and vendors, both orally, and in writing in English.
  • Ability to successfully interact in a team environment.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle applications.
