About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide support to our People Partner in all aspects of HR, including coaching, guidance, and advice on people policies, procedures, and employee relations.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide coaching, guidance, and advice on all people policies, procedures, and employee relations
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach that complies with employment law
- Collate, report, and analyze HR KPIs, producing action plans to improve
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage long-term absence, occupational health referrals, medical reports, flexible working, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, etc.
- Coordinate and manage recruitment, selection, and induction processes
- Forge relationships with the Trade Union to ensure a positive and constructive working relationship
- Support the health and wellbeing of all colleagues
You Will Need
- CIPD full or part qualified
- Previous experience in a generalist role offering first-line advice within a unionized environment essential
- Able to prioritize, plan, and organize a varied workload, with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative experience with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Attending and supporting all shifts (including night shift) will be a requirement, therefore flexibility to working hours is essential
