HR Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide support to our People Partner during a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a proven track record of providing HR support in a unionized environment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide coaching, guidance, and advice on all People policies, procedures, and employee relations.
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach that complies with employment law.
- Collate, report, and analyze HR KPIs, producing action plans to improve.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage long-term absence, occupational health referrals, medical reports, flexible working, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, etc.
- Coordinate and manage recruitment, selection, and induction processes.
- Foster relationships with the Trade Union to ensure a positive and constructive working relationship.
- Support the health and wellbeing of all colleagues.
- CIPD full or part-qualified.
- Previous experience in a generalist role offering first-line advice within a unionized environment.
- Able to prioritize, plan, and organize a varied workload with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Administrative experience with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including night shifts.
