Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our HR team. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will work closely with leaders, stakeholders, and HR colleagues to shape and deliver HR plans and solutions that align with the company's needs and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance, and employee relations issues.
  2. Identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.
  3. Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement, and performance management.
  4. Commission services, projects, or activity that supports the delivery of HR and departmental strategies and objectives.
  5. Analyse and report HR information to support benchmarking and the development of HR strategies and solutions, ensuring all internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied.
  6. Maintain a clear understanding and provide up-to-date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, developing and updating HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping abreast of modern HR procedures and best practice.
  7. Support the development and implementation of the company's pay and reward strategy.
  8. Direct and support the HR Manager and the Support Services Director in their duties to support the delivery of the HR strategy, including overseeing all payroll processes to ensure staff are paid on time and correctly.
  9. Monitor and support HR activity to ensure the terms of the HR SLA are being met, addressing HR-related business continuity issues.
  10. Support the Payroll team by providing accurate and timely payroll data.
  11. Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed, and reported, and where appropriate, escalated.
